Ex Tensometer Calibrator
A tensometer is a measuring instrument used to determine the tensile
strength and other mechanical properties of materials by subjecting
them to tension or stretching. It typically consists of a load cell
or force sensor, grips to hold the material, and a measuring system
to record the applied force and deformation.
An ex tensometer calibrator, therefore, would be employed to calibrate
a tensometer that is no longer in active service. This might involve
adjusting the instrument to meet the desired accuracy or determining
if the tensometer is still within acceptable limits for future use
or reference.
